Eitel introduces a new high speed bar and tube for parts up to 4 meters long.
The Eitel Automatic Electro-Mechanical Straightening Press Model AMS 25/4000 is specifically designed for straightening long bars and tubes to tight tolerances in cycle times as low as 30 to 40 seconds. The machine is a through feed design with a walking beam transfer that can handle up to seven pieces at a time. The measuring devices and tooling are located on the table of the machine and can be easily positioned on their dove tail bases. The straightening punch is mounted on a carriage that travels at high speed over the entire length of the bed depending on the point to be straightened. High speed straightening is achieved by putting the electro-mechanical drive on the top of the press frame. It also allows a better alignment of the straightening force by locating the servo motor and gear box in the middle of the crown with amply dimensioned shafts transferring the power to the two outside cams. This model is ideally suited to companies with tubes or shafts up to 4 meters long that require straightening.

Eitel receives ISO 9001: 2000 Certification for its Quality Management System
On November 25, 2008, Eitel Presses, Inc. received the ISO 9001:2000 Certification of its Quality Management System. The certifying body is the well known German firm TUV that had first awarded Eitel the ISO 9001:1994 Certification six years ago. The process of receiving certification requires a commitment by all the employees of the company to maintaining a quality system that becomes part of the culture of the company. With a dedication to doing things right the first time and keeping the customer's interests first at all times, Eitel employees embody that spirit. Eitel would like to especially recognize Luis Francisco and Sherri Moore for their efforts in achieving this certification. Luis is the Quality Management Supervisor and Sherri is the Project Manager / Sales Adminstrator for the company.

This control will improve your straightening cycle times by as much as 30% while enhancing your ability to track process data by batch loads through your plant. Enhanced communication features allow you to capture real time data and download it through an Ethernet connection to your factory information center or to a PC network. In addition, the new controls can be connected by modem to the Eitel PC Development Center for support and remote diagnostics.

In addition to the superior results possible with the new controls, we will replace components that are no longer available on the market with new components that are compatible with the latest Windows XP Professional software drivers and hardware. Highlight of the new control is an improved MMI with a 15" color touchscreen monitor. The new controls are easy to navigate, offer improved program features, and are available in Spanish, German, Polish and Japanese languages.
